Psychotherapy: The practice of recognising unhelpful thought patterns, identifying their root causes and working together to achieve your goals.
I work with both couples and individuals and in either setting, it’s important to find the therapist who feels like the right fit for you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and feeling safe, understood and able to show up as yourself makes a real difference to the work. My top tip is to arrange discovery calls with a few therapists so you can get a sense of their style, their approach, and whether you feel comfortable talking with them. Trusting your instincts at this early stage is an important part of the process.

When working with couples, the focus naturally expands. In many ways, the relationship itself becomes my client. Each partner brings their own experiences, history and patterns, but together we explore what the relationship needs in order to feel secure, supported and able to thrive. From this foundation, we look at how each person contributes to the dynamic, helping to deepen understanding, strengthen communication and create healthier ways of being together. Couples therapy can be a powerful space for clarity, connection and change.

ABOUT ME
My psychotherapy journey began with a focus on supporting women’s cyclical experiences, where I trained as a facilitator and mentor with the Red School. This work fueled my interest in Jungian psychology and inspired me to explore the deeper connections between our inner worlds and life cycles. Following a foundation year in Jungian Psychotherapy at the British Psychotherapy Foundation in London, I committed to a path in Transactional Analysis, which aligns with my goal of supporting meaningful, lifelong change.

As a fourth-year student of The Berne Institute, I am on the path to UKCP accreditation and Certified Transactional Analyst. Being a trainee under close supervision, allows me to offer 50-minute therapy sessions at an affordable rate. With client consent, I record sessions, which support my qualifications. I have over 300 client hours in private practice.

Why Transactional Analysis?
I chose Transactional Analysis (TA) as my primary approach because it offers a clear, structured framework that allows clients to explore themselves in an observational way. TA provides tools to understand how past patterns influence our present lives, while inviting us to make change where change is possible. Physchotherapy supports people in uncovering and reclaiming their most authentic selves with adult-centred choices.

There are many approaches to psychotherapy, each with its unique strengths. The most essential part of your journey is finding a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and understood, this relationship is where the real work unfolds. The modality a therapist uses is the lens for the process, helping set goals, reach insights, and support real change. Most therapists draw from various approaches and trainings
